Meet the Management Team

Initially trained as a Carpenter on an apprenticeship programme, I have remained in construction for the last 35 years working in various roles in order to progress to Managing Director. I currently oversee all operations and projects within DBI.

I attended Kingston University and obtained a BEng (HONS) degree in Civil Engineering before spending 5 years working on and offshore in various Civil Engineering Projects. I then moved to designing telecommunications infrastructure. For the last 10 years I have been working in Aviation Construction at both Heathrow and Gatwick Airports, project managing various projects such as Terminal 4 Baggage Hall Extensions, T3 East Wing Hotel and T3 IDL Retail and Seating.

I am currently project managing aviation and non-aviation projects for DBI including strip-out, refurbishment, logistic and general building packages. With over 20 years of experience, my background has covered all aspects of construction in a variety of environments.

I began working with DBI in 2007. My background includes Carpentry, Mechanical Services and Surveying. I have now been working on construction sites (including airside) for over 10 years on a wide variety of commercial projects and have built up a relationship with numerous clients.

Initially trained as a Carpenter, my career began building film sets, fitting kitchens and carrying out general building works. I have now been working on construction sites at Heathrow airport for 15 years on a variety of commercial projects including T5 Luxury, T3 Decants, T4 East Wing Hotel and T3 International Departure Lounge which have given me an extensive knowledge of the complexities of working airside.

I joined DBI in 2016 and have since worked on various impactful projects at Heathrow Airport including the Cargo Tunnel refurbishment, asset replacement projects, and several baggage system projects. Over the past 8 years, I have gained extensive experience and knowledge of airside processes, enabling me to build a strong rapport with clients and successfully delivery each project.

I have been the Commercial Manager with DBI since January 2014 working on a variety of different projects and contracts, including airside and other sites. I assist with tenders, quotes, cost control, forecasting and applications. I began my career working for Fund Managers in the City working with both private individuals and commercial clients. More recently I have also gained construction experience within other companies.

I joined DBI in 2015. I work predominantly as an Authorised Signatory applying to Heathrow for various pass types. These include passes such as Full Airside, Temporary, Landside and Vehicle Passes. Alongside this role I assist with Payroll, Invoices and other administration tasks.

I have been with DBI since start of 2019 and have worked on and managed the progress, quality, commercial elements, health and safety on numerous projects which gave me the opportunity to join the experienced and very knowledgeable aviation department of DBI in 2022 and have been on projects airside and landside since, assisting with running and planning the Cargo tunnel, CSA civils at T3, campus security and baggage safety.

Narendra is an MSc graduate in Construction Management with a hands-on industry experience. He specialises in overseeing fit-out and renovation projects, demonstrating exceptional skills in leadership and management within the construction sector. He is dedicated to implementing sustainable construction methods, continuously seeking innovative solutions to reduce environmental impact while maintaining high-quality standards. Currently, Narendra is leading a survey team and overseeing strip-out and builders' works for DBI in the aviation industry, showcasing his versatility and expertise in specialised construction environments. His commitment to sustainability, coupled with his strong management skills, positions him as a forward-thinking professional in the evolving field of construction management.

I have over 13 Years of airport experience working at Heathrow Airport on various projects such as Terminal 5’s new build Construction in various Logistics Roles before moving onto Senior Delivery Coordinator for Heathrow Terminal 5 C Construction dealing with the Day to Day Deliveries. I then moved onto Facilities Management across Heathrow Airport, which included managing all items from Fire Alarm Drills, Tests and Inspections to Seating Plans and arrangements. At DBI, I manage projects from the tender stage through to handover including the completion of safety tours.

I joined DBI in June 2022 and have been working alongside AJ Lowe with all Quality & Handover for DBI projects, building up a strong relationship with clients. I check over all Operatives Training & the Training Requirements as laid out by the Projects / Project Management teams and make sure all training is completed and in date. I carry out Internal Quality Audits across all projects & sit with the Management team to make sure all matters are actioned in a timely manner. I also assist with the company Environmental procedures & monitor our carbon footprint.
